I have had headaches for years. After going through allergy testing, it was found that I have food allergies, no sneezing or stuffed up head, just headaches. I am allergic to all mammalian meats, dairy, oysters and dog dander. I love meat and oysters and dairy, so getting protein now became a problem and I didn't want to eat 20 eggs a day. A friend found America's Natural Superfood while looking for his whey protein mixtures. I honestly never heard of pea protein and was a little skeptical of trying it, but the vanilla flavor gave it potential, so I ordered some.
Immediately, I learned to put water in the shaker cup first and then add the pea protein because it mixes better. At first, I used vanilla flavored almond milk and thought it tasted pretty good. Adding ice to that makes it more refreshing, and you don't need to add any more pea protein. Now, I can keep the calories even lower by just using water to mix it - tastes fine to me, and sometimes I will have 2 servings during the day.
